Learn to fly a Paraglider or Powered Paraglider in Alaska

Interested in learning to fly a paraglider or powered paraglider in Alaska? Nothing - not even flying a fixed wing airplane - can really compare to the natural feeling of flying a paraglider or powered paraglider through the air over Alaska. Flying a fixed wing airplane might be compared to driving a car, while a paraglider or powered paraglider may be compared to soaring like a bird.

Flying a paraglider or powered paraglider in Alaska also means there are far fewer rules and regulations to know and abide by. Here is the short list of FAA regulations that apply to paragliders and powered paragliders, found under FAR Part 103. Though there are numerous training programs (and they are HIGHLY encouraged) for paragliders and powered paragliders in Alaska, there are no required training, tests, exams, or checkrides, which makes entry into the sport even easier and less stressful.
