Flight Instruction in Alaska

Alaska Flight School exists to help you find flight instruction in Alaska. Looking to begin training to become a Private or Sport pilot? We can help. Looking to add an Instrument Rating to your current pilot's license, or upgrade to a Commercial Pilot or ATP? We can help there too! We are happy to work with all levels of aviators to help them achieve their goals. It is the goal of the organization to pair pilots and aspiring aviators with flight instruction in Alaska and training solutions throughout Alaska that fit the individual's needs.

  • Private Pilot Flight Training (the "standard" pilots license)
  • Sport Pilot Flight Training (very limited pilots license)
  • Commercial Pilot Flight Training (for pilots who want compensation/payment)
  • Instrument Rating Flight Training (for pilots who want to fly in clouds and bad weather)
  • Multi-Engine Flight Training (fly an airplane with more than one engine)
  • Certificated Flight Instructor Flight Training CFI+CFII+MEI (teach others to fly!)
  • Airline Transport Flight Training ATP (airline pilots)
  • Training in a Flight Simulator (save money!)
  • Flight Review (aka "biannual") (required every 24 months to act as PIC)
